It started with an itch.
Queue soft country guitar music. J/k. Kind of. But we do have a wholesome story to share. Some time in 2023, the founder of PicUpClub started having some itchy issues under arms. It took a few doctors visits and a ton of different medications, including an ER visit because it was starting to spread.
The realization hit: conventional deodorants were doing more harm than good.
Potassium alum is a naturally-occurring mineral salt. Egyptians used it. Barbers used it. The smear of plastic in your medicine cabinet is a recent invention; this one has been around for roughly two thousand years and we did not invent it. We just shape it, wrap it in paper, and put it in a box.
